Colmic Ombrone

Colmic Ombrone is a series of balsa floats with carbon stem and slim hollow plastic antenna. It belongs to the Competition range dedicated to fishing in lake, canal and river, with use on medium-flow waters and light rigs.

What it is for

This float is designed for barbel, crucian carp and roach fishing when the bait needs to be held up and allowed to run through smoothly. The hollow-antenna design provides bite sensitivity while remaining buoyant during the drift. It is used with roubaisienne, telescopic rod or bolognese in stretches where controlling the presentation matters more than looking for high carrying capacity. The series covers several sizes, so the angler can choose the model based on the required hold and current management.

Features

  • Balsa body for a setup suited to fishing in rivers and canals.
  • Carbon stem for stable tracking in the drift.
  • Hollow plastic antenna, 1.20 mm, sensitive yet buoyant.
  • Series available in multiple weights to adapt the float to current and rig.
  • Recommended for light rigs on barbel, crucian carp and roach.

In the Pescaloccasione catalogue, Colmic Ombrone sits among river and canal floats for technical fishing with a light setup. The series variants cover different needs in buoyancy and control, while keeping the same construction.
