Returns, exchanges and right of withdrawal

Exchanges If you would like to replace a product you have purchased, you can request an exchange within 14 days of the date you receive your order. Exchanges are offered at the seller's commercial discretion and are not a right guaranteed by the legislation on the right of withdrawal.

Conditions for exchanges To be accepted, the product must:

  • be intact and undamaged;

  • be returned complete with the original packaging, accessories, manuals and any labels;

  • show no signs of use incompatible with a normal check of the product's characteristics.

Shipping costs The cost of shipping the goods back is borne by the customer.

Right of withdrawal Pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of D.Lgs. 206/2005 (Codice del Consumo, the Italian Consumer Code), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the date of receipt of the goods without having to give any reason.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal The customer may exercise the right of withdrawal:

  • directly from their personal account area on the website, by going to the "Orders" section and selecting the "Request a Return / Right of Withdrawal" option;

  • by contacting customer service by e-mail;

  • by means of any explicit statement expressing their decision to withdraw from the contract.

Once the request has been received, Pescaloccasione will send confirmation by e-mail that the case is being handled.

Returning the goods After communicating the decision to withdraw, the customer must send the goods back within 14 days. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer.

Condition of returned products The customer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Products must be returned:

  • complete with all accessories, if any;

  • properly packaged;

  • free from damage caused by improper use;

  • complete with the original packaging where possible.

If the returned product shows damage, missing parts or evident signs of use not compatible with a normal check of the goods, Pescaloccasione reserves the right to apply a proportional reduction to the amount refunded, as provided for by the legislation in force. Each case will be assessed individually.

Refunds After receiving and checking the returned goods, Pescaloccasione will issue the refund within 14 days of receipt of the notice of withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same payment method chosen by the customer at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed between the parties. Pescaloccasione may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or until the customer has provided proof of having sent the goods back. The refund may be reduced if the goods have been used beyond a normal check.

Products excluded from the right of withdrawal Pursuant to Article 59 of the Codice del Consumo, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to:

  • made-to-measure or personalised products;

  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons and that have been opened after delivery;

  • products for which the legislation provides for specific exclusions;

  • live bait / groundbait;

  • food;

  • opened products;

  • food products, perishable products or sealed products that have been opened after delivery.

Return shipment To ensure that your return is delivered correctly, we recommend using a tracked shipping service. Responsibility for the return shipment remains with the customer until delivery to our warehouse.

Recommended documentation To speed up the handling of your case, we recommend including the following inside the parcel:

  • order number;

  • name of the purchaser;

  • contact telephone number;

  • an indication of what you are requesting (exchange, refund or assistance).

Legal guarantee of conformity All products sold on pescaloccasione.biz are covered by the 24-month Legal Guarantee for lack of conformity, pursuant to Articles 128 et seq. of D.Lgs. 206/2005 (Codice del Consumo).
