What Are Feeders and Their Types

Feeders are devices used to contain and gradually release the bait into the water, thus attracting fish towards the fishing area. There are different types of feeders, each designed to meet specific needs:

Anti Tangle Feeder 10gr: Ideal for avoiding tangles in the line, this feeder is perfect for calm waters and delicate fishing conditions.
Flat Feeder with Swivel: This model, thanks to the integrated swivel, offers greater stability and facilitates the rotation of the bait, proving effective in moving waters or currents.
Adjustable Sliding Feeder: This feeder allows you to adjust the amount of bait released, making it versatile and suitable for different depths and fishing conditions.

What are Feeders for?

Feeders are mainly used to attract fish to the fishing area, gradually releasing the bait contained inside them. This process significantly increases the chances of success, especially in difficult fishing conditions or in waters with poor visibility. Using the right type of feeder can make the difference between a fruitful fishing and a day without catches.

Technical Features of Feeders

The feeders available on Pescaloccasione are made with resistant materials and designed to offer the best performance. The main features to consider include:

Weight: The weight of the feeders varies depending on the fishing conditions. A 10g model such as the Anti Tangle is perfect for calm waters, while heavier weights may be necessary in rougher waters.
Containment Capacity: The capacity of the feeder determines the amount of bait that can be released. Adjustable models allow you to adapt the dispersion to the needs of the moment.
Materials: Feeders are generally made of resistant plastic or metal, materials that guarantee durability and consistent performance even after numerous fishing sessions.
Anti-Tangle Design: Features such as Anti Tangle reduce the risk of tangles, improving efficiency and the fishing experience.

What is feeder fishing called?

Feeder fishing is commonly called feeder fishing. This term comes from the English "feeder", which means "feeder", in reference to the feeder that is used to gradually release the bait into the water, attracting the fish towards the hook. Feeder fishing is a very popular technique, especially in freshwater, thanks to its effectiveness in attracting fish to the fishing area.

What fish can you catch with groundbait?

With groundbait you can catch a wide range of fish, both in freshwater and saltwater. Among the most common fish that can be caught with groundbait in freshwater are the crucian carp, the carp, the barbel, the mullet and the chub. In saltwater, however, groundbait is effective in attracting species such as the sea bass, the gilthead bream, the white sea bream and the mullet. Choosing the right groundbait and feeder depends on the type of fish you want to catch and the water conditions.
