The PENN® Battalion Solid Jigging Cast is designed to give you perfect control over your jig. The exclusive Solid Spiral Armor technology uses spiral-shaped reinforced fibers in the blank, which creates a blank with strength never seen before in a carbon rod. Thanks to the high density of the carbon, you still have a rod with great sensitivity and with lightweight Fuji Alconite guides, it remains extremely light. The spiral mounted system provides better stability during the fight and if slack line catches the top of the rod, it will easily slide off, reducing the risk of snagging on the guides.
