PENN Battalion Solid Jigging Spiral Guide Rod

The PENN Battalion Solid Jigging Spiral Guide Rod is a vertical jigging rod from the PENN range, designed for use with a conventional reel. It combines a Spiral Armor Solid Carbon blank, K Alconite guides and a Palm Support System reel seat. The compact build and spiral guide configuration define a rod designed for vertical fishing with heavy loads.

What it is for

This rod is used for vertical fishing, where direct lure control and precise fight management are required. The short structure improves leverage during the hook set and makes it easier to apply power when lifting from the bottom. The spiral guide setup helps maintain alignment during the fight, with a more direct pull. It is a suitable solution for anglers looking for a jigging rod that is crisp in response, sensitive in action detection and suitable for long sessions. The two available variants cover different needs in casting power and bulk, so you can choose the model based on lure weight and intended use.

Features

Spiral Armor Solid Carbon blank for a solid and sensitive setup.
K Alconite guides with spiral configuration for fight management.
Palm Support System reel seat for control and comfort during use.
Short structure for better leverage during retrieval and lifting.
Supplied with Cloth Rod Bag.
Series available with two power ratings: 300 g and 500 g.

At Pescaloccasione, the Battalion Solid Jigging Spiral Guide Rod series is part of PENN’s vertical jigging range, with variants that differ in length, power and bulk. The choice of model depends on the working weight and the sensitivity required while fishing.
