Madcat Diamond Hook Sharpener is a double-sided hook file, designed to refine and restore the sharpness of fishing hooks. It belongs to the family of maintenance accessories for traces and hooks, and is used when the point needs to be kept ready for use.

What it is for

This sharpener works on the hook point and restores precision to the cutting edge, a decisive factor when preparing sport fishing rigs. It is used on boats, from the shore, and during equipment checks before baiting or after use. Those who work with hooks of different sizes find it useful to have two grits in the same tool, so they can handle both finishing and a more aggressive action on the point. The result is controlled sharpening, with a quick and targeted motion.
