Madcat Hooklift Kit

Madcat Hooklift Kit is a subfloat kit for catfish fishing, designed to lighten the hook setup placed behind a normal subfloat. The series belongs to terminal tackle accessories and works on bait presentation, keeping the rig tidy on the leader.

What it is for

This kit is used to position the float close to the hook on the leader, improving bait presentation when fishing with cat-fishing rigs. It reduces the weight perceived by the hook behind the subfloat and stabilizes the setup in the water. It is used in situations where the leader must remain clean and well balanced, with rigs dedicated to catfish fishing. The fixing system is simple and direct, useful when the setup needs to be mounted and adjusted quickly.

Features

Subfloats dedicated to bait presentation on the leader.
Mounted on the leader line, with a position close to the hook.
Secured with a short piece of silicone tubing.

The Madcat Hooklift Kit range covers multiple sizes, so you can choose the version best suited to your leader and the rig you use when fishing. At Pescaloccasione you will find the complete series, useful for anglers working on catfish terminal tackle and looking for a specific accessory for bait presentation.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Madcat Hooklift Kit used for?	It is used to mount a subfloat close to the hook and lighten the leader setup. This makes bait presentation more orderly in catfish fishing.
Where is this kit installed?	It is installed on the leader line, with the float positioned near the hook. The manufacturer also recommends using a short length of silicone tubing to hold it in place.
How do you choose the right size?	The series is available in various sizes. The choice depends on the rig you want to build and the balance you want on the leader, without leaving the logic of cat-fishing.
What makes this kit different from a traditional subfloat?	It is designed to work close to the hook and to remove the hook weight behind a normal subfloat. For this reason, it is aimed at bait presentation on the leader, not at general buoyancy.
Does it require any special accessories for mounting?	The manufacturer indicates fixing it with a small piece of silicone tubing. No other components are listed in the series sheet.
