Van Staal: reels built for saltwater

Van Staal is the American brand of spinning reels designed for saltwater and the toughest conditions. For 30 years the VS series has been the benchmark for durability and reliability. The brand is part of the Pure Fishing group.

Van Staal VSX2 bailed spinning reel

The VSX2 keeps the simplicity and functionality of the VS series and improves it from top to bottom. The new unibody design increases strength and sealing; the longer handle, power knob and larger drag knob add cranking power and drag pressure. The oversized clutch, now on the pinion side, gives immediate hook sets. Sizes range from back bays and inshore fishing to offshore tuna grounds.
