Colmic Split Rings

Colmic Split Rings is a series of split rings for fishing hardware. It belongs to the category of swivels and connection accessories used in rig building and in the assembly of hard lures.

What it is used for

Split rings are used to quickly and securely connect hooks, assist hooks, treble hooks, hard lures and leaders. They are used in spinning, vertical jigging, saltwater and in all applications where the connection must remain reliable and easy to replace. The series offers different sizes to match the rig to the lure weight, the size of the hardware and the load required. The result is fishing hardware that suits different needs, from light-duty work to more demanding rigs.

Features

Series available in multiple sizes, from 3.5 to 10.
Each size has a capacity indicated in test kg and power lbs.
Choosing the size affects strength and rig bulk.
The smaller sizes suit light rigs and compact lures.
The larger sizes cover heavier setups and higher loads.

Frequently asked questions

How do you choose the right size of Colmic Split Rings?	The choice depends on the required load and the bulk of the rig. Smaller sizes are for light setups, while larger ones cover heavier connections.
Where are these split rings used?	They are used in fishing rigs to connect components such as hooks, trebles, assist hooks and hard lures. They are suitable for applications where a compact, replaceable connection point is needed.
What makes one size different from another?	The ring size changes, and so does the stated capacity in test kg and power lbs. This makes it possible to choose the model based on the type of rig and the expected load.
Is this series suitable for only one type of fishing?	No. The series covers several rig-building needs and suits different technical uses. The size should be chosen based on the application, not only on the fishing discipline.
Is any special maintenance required?	No specific maintenance is indicated in the manufacturer's sheet. In practice, it is a good idea to always check the condition of the hardware before use, especially after saltwater applications.
