Ragot Hollow Stainless Steel Needle

Ragot Hollow Stainless Steel Needle is an angling needle from the terminal tackle family, designed for bait preparation and baiting up. It belongs to the small tackle and is among the accessories used to handle delicate baits and larger worms in an orderly way.

What it is for

This needle is used to thread and handle fragile baits without breaking them, and to manage larger worms during baiting up as well. It is used in sport fishing when the bait needs to be passed onto the needle and then transferred precisely onto the rig or hook. Those who often prepare their terminal tackle find it useful to have an accessory designed to work with both long, fragile baits and more substantial worms. The result is a more orderly and controlled baiting operation, both on the pier and on surfcasting and shore fishing spots.
