DAM Loop Thimbles
DAM Loop Thimbles are protectors for the inside of a crimped-loop leader. They are part of the terminal tackle hardware and are used in leader construction when the working point of the loop needs protection.
What it is for
This accessory protects the inside of the loop when the leader is closed with a crimping tool. In fishing leader setups, the closing point is the area most exposed to friction and compression. The component is used in predator rigs and in setups that require clean, tidy connections. The manufacturer’s sheet indicates use in combination with MADCAT Aluminum Sleeve, Ultra-soft Leader Mono and a swivel with solid rings. Anglers preparing technical leaders choose it when they want to complete the connection with dedicated loop support.
Features
- Internal protection for crimped loops
- Intended use in fishing leaders
- Compatible with MADCAT aluminum sleeves
- Recommended for leaders with Ultra-soft Leader Mono
- Suitable for pairing with solid ring swivels
Within the Pescaloccasione range, DAM Loop Thimbles are part of the leader components designed to complete specific rigs and define the loop finish. The series sits within technical hardware for those assembling leaders with coordinated components.
