Savage Gear Carbon49 Double Stinger

The Savage Gear Carbon49 Double Stinger is a terminal tackle rig designed to present two stinger hooks on artificial lures. It belongs to the Rigs line and was created to complete the setup on jigs and other lures that require a second ready-to-use hooking point.

What it is for

This double stinger is used when you need to increase hooking security on fish that strike short or fast. It is mounted close to the lure and works together with the artificial bait, so the hook stays in the correct position during the retrieve and at the moment of the bite. It is a terminal accessory used by anglers fishing with jigs who want a pre-assembled solution with components ready for direct use. The silicone tube on each loop eye allows the stinger to be locked onto the jig eye and keeps the setup neat.

Features

Double rig with two SGY 1X-trebles hooks already crimped.
Coated Carbon49 wire for use as a rig leader.
Each pack contains one gunsmoke color and one blood red color.
Each loop eye has a silicone tube for fastening to the jig eye.
Series available in several wire lengths to match the lure setup.

At Pescaloccasione you will find the Savage Gear Carbon49 Double Stinger series in different length options, so you can choose the model best suited to your fishing setup and the type of lure you use.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Carbon49 Double Stinger used for?	It is used to mount two stinger hooks on an artificial lure. It works as a leader to improve the rig presentation and provide a second ready-to-use hooking point.
Where is this stinger mounted?	It is installed on the jig eye thanks to the silicone tube on each loop eye. In this way, the stinger stays locked in position during use.
How do you choose the right length?	The series offers several wire lengths: 10,5 cm, 11,5 cm, 13,5 cm and 15 cm. The choice depends on the lure setup and the area you want to cover with the stinger.
What makes this series different from other rigs?	It is a double rig already crimped with SGY 1X-trebles hooks and supplied in two colors per pack. The silicone tube on the eyes makes it ready to be attached to the jig.
Does it require special maintenance?	It does not require additional work, but it should be checked like any fishing terminal tackle. After use, it is helpful to inspect the crimps, hooks and silicone tube.
