Berkley PowerBait Hollow Craw
Berkley PowerBait Hollow Craw is a soft bait from the soft bait family, designed to realistically imitate a crawfish. The series combines a floating body and floating claws, so the lure works on the bottom with a natural action. It is a suitable option for bottom fishing rigs and for anglers looking for a slow, controlled presentation.
What it is for
This lure is used to present a crustacean profile in situations where fish hold close to the bottom. It works with Texas Rig, Carolina Rig, Cheb Rig, Ned Rig and jighead, and keeps a posture that recalls a crawfish in defence. It is used for big perch, zander and bass fishing, when you need a lure that stays in position and clearly shows movement along the bottom. The series offers two lengths, so the angler can choose the format based on the approach and the type of fish targeted.
Features
- Floating body with floating claws for a raised position on the bottom.
- Realistic crawfish imitation, designed for natural presentations.
- Compatible with Texas Rig, Carolina Rig, Cheb Rig, Ned Rig and jighead.
- Series available in two sizes: 7 cm and 10 cm.
- Wide choice of UV colours to match different fishing conditions.
On Pescaloccasione, the Berkley PowerBait Hollow Craw series is part of the soft bait range for targeting predators in technical fishing. The choice of model mainly depends on size and colour, which vary among the available versions.

Frequently asked questions
| How do you choose the right size of Berkley PowerBait Hollow Craw? | The series offers two lengths, 7 cm and 10 cm. The choice depends on the type of presentation you want to make and the size of the fish you are targeting. |
|---|---|
| What rigs can it be used on? | The manufacturer lists Texas Rig, Carolina Rig, Cheb Rig, Ned Rig and jighead. The lure works well when presented on the bottom. |
| What makes it different from other soft bait? | This series has a floating body and floating claws. That balance keeps it lifted off the bottom like a crawfish in defence. |
| Which fish is it suitable for? | The manufacturer lists it for big perch, zander and bass. It is designed for predators that take the lure close to the bottom. |
| How should it be stored after use? | After fishing, simply store it dry and away from heat sources. As with all soft baits, it is best kept separate from other materials to preserve its shape. |
