Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Roach
The Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Roach is an artificial lure from the soft lure family, designed to imitate the behaviour of roach in freshwater. The series is based on a 3D scan of a real roach and delivers a realistic silhouette, a tall profile and a swim that recalls a natural baitfish. The Line Thru system keeps the hooks free outside the body and makes hook-ups more effective during the retrieve.
What it is for
This series is designed to target freshwater predators that feed on medium to large prey. It performs well when the fish requires a realistic profile and a convincing movement, especially in waters where fishing pressure makes overly rigid or overly uniform lures less effective. The slow sinking variant produces a slow descent and allows retrieves with pauses and small twitches. The sinking version drops deeper and covers the lower layers of the water column. Anglers targeting pike and other predators will find in this series a solution for casting or trolling when they want to present prey similar to a real forage fish.
