Savage Gear 3D Fat Smashtail
Savage Gear 3D Fat Smashtail is an artificial lure from the hard bait family, designed to work on the surface with a noisy and visible action. The series comes from a 3D scan of a baby trout and reproduces a realistic profile, developed to present a recognizable and well-defined lure in the water.
What it is for
This lure is used for surface fishing with attractors that move water and create a visible trail. The manufacturer specifies a rotating tail that hits the water, produces a strong splash sound and leaves behind a wake and bubble trail. In practice, the lure draws the fish’s attention in environments where being noticed right away matters. It is used when you want a lure that works aggressively on the surface and provides a clear signal both visually and acoustically. Anglers who choose this type of artificial lure are looking for one that stands out in the upper water layer while keeping a natural profile in its silhouette.
