Savage Gear Sardine Slider Micro
The Savage Gear Sardine Slider Micro is a jig from the micro jig family, designed for fishing with light tackle when you need to reach distance and depth with a compact lure. The series is made to work both on the retrieve and on the drop, with an action suited to situations where the fish stops cooperating and a precise, fast presentation is needed.
What it is for
This jig meets the need to fish with small but effective lures, both from shore and from a boat. It performs well with light game and light spinning tackle because it offers fast sinking and low resistance during jigging. The series is used when you want an artificial lure that can get down to the fishing zone and create visual attraction on the fall. The different models cover various depths and weights, so anglers can choose the most suitable format based on casting distance, working depth and use, vertical or casting.
Features
- Micro jig designed for long casts and reaching depth with light tackle.
- Works both on the retrieve and on the fall, with strong visual attraction during the sinking phase.
- Fast Sink sinking action to bring the lure into the fishing zone quickly.
- Available in several sizes: 6.2 cm, 8.5 cm and 10 cm, with weights of 10 g, 20 g and 30 g.
- Three working ranges: 2.5-15 m, 3-20 m and 5-25 m, to choose the model according to depth.
- Each version is fitted with one hook, and hook size changes according to the model.
At Pescaloccasione, the Sardine Slider Micro series is part of the Savage Gear selection dedicated to compact jigs, with different variants by size, weight and working depth.

Frequently asked questions
| How do I choose the right size in the Sardine Slider Micro series? | The choice depends on working depth and the tackle you use. The 10 g models work between 2.5 and 15 m, the 20 g models between 3 and 20 m, and the 30 g models between 5 and 25 m. |
|---|---|
| Is it only used from a boat? | No. The series also works very well from shore with light game or light spinning tackle. It is suitable for both casting and vertical use. |
| What changes between the models in the series? | Length, weight, hook size and depth range change. The basic behavior remains that of a Fast Sink micro jig, but the size should be chosen according to the water layer to cover. |
| How many hooks does each model have? | Each version in the series has 1 hook. Hook size varies by model. |
| What kind of maintenance does it require? | You should check the hook and body after use, especially after contact with saltwater. Proper cleaning and drying help keep the lure ready for the next cast. |
