Maver Galleggiante Levante

The Maver Galleggiante Levante is a sliding float from the Galleggiante Levante series, designed for match fishing, bolognese rod fishing and shore rod fishing. It works with an internal through-line and is made to handle controlled presentations in deep water and in the presence of current.

What it is for

This float is used to keep control of the bait when distance increases or when the current tends to move the rig. The inverted drop shape promotes stability and precision, while the sliding structure helps set up the rig to target fish at different depths. It can be used both from the shore and from a boat, in situations where long casting, hold and a clear bite indication are needed.

Features

High-density polyurethane body with inverted drop profile.
Fiberglass stem for a stable set-up.
4.5 mm solid plastic antenna with high visibility.
Integrated starlight housing in the antenna.
Brass sleeve at the top of the tube to reduce line wear and improve sliding.
Series available in multiple weights, from 3 g to 25 g, to adapt the rig to different fishing conditions.

The Galleggiante Levante series is part of Maver’s range dedicated to assorted floats. On Pescaloccasione you will find the different variants of the series, so you can choose the most suitable weight for the type of water, fishing distance and current conditions you need to face.

Frequently asked questions

How do you choose the right weight for the Maver Galleggiante Levante?	The choice depends on depth, current and fishing distance. The 3 g to 25 g variants cover different uses, from lighter situations to those that require more hold and more casting weight.
Which techniques is this float used for?	The manufacturer indicates it for bolognese rod, shore rod and match fishing. It is also suitable when you need to work in deep water or with strong current.
What changes compared with the nearby variants in the series?	The model weight changes. The rest of the family remains based on the same concept of a sliding float with internal through-line, visible antenna and fiberglass stem.
Does it require a special rig to use it?	It requires a sliding rig compatible with the internal through-line. The brass sleeve at the top of the tube is designed to let the line slide smoothly and limit wear.
Does it require specific maintenance?	No complex maintenance is needed. After use, it is advisable to check the antenna, stem and line sliding point, especially if the tackle works in current or at long range.
