Colmic Rhon

Colmic Rhon is a float from the Competition / Lake / Canal / River series, designed for holding fishing with a roubaisienne or bolognese rod. It features a balsa body, side through-line, carbon stem and solid painted plastic antenna. Its short drop shape places it among the models for slow to medium-fast current, with a design focused on bait control and bite detection.

What it is for

This float is made for river or canal fishing when you need to keep the line stable while controlling the drift. The side through-line helps with holding presentation, while the compact shape supports a setup suited to situations with non-extreme current. Anglers using a roubaisienne or bolognese rod choose it to present the bait in a controlled way and to get a clear signal when striking. The series covers several weights, so you can choose the model according to depth, setup and current strength.

Features

Balsa body for typical use as a controlled running float.
Side through-line for holding fishing.
Carbon stem for a structure suited to technical use in flowing water.
Solid painted plastic antenna for immediate signal reading.
Short drop shape, suitable for slow to medium-fast current.
Series available in several weights, from 0.30 g to 6.00 g, with antenna and stem varying by size.

The Colmic Rhon series fits into the range of floats for inland waters available on Pescaloccasione, alongside other solutions for match fishing and current fishing. The choice of model depends on the weight and the most suitable setup for your fishing trip.

Frequently asked questions

What type of fishing is Colmic Rhon designed for?	It is a holding float, suitable for fishing with a roubaisienne or bolognese rod. It works well in slow to medium-fast current, where bait control and precise bite reading are needed.
How do I choose the right weight in the series?	The choice depends on current, depth and the setup you want to keep while fishing. Available weights range from 0.30 g to 6.00 g, so you can move from light situations to more demanding uses.
What are the differences between the models in the series?	The weight changes and, in the heavier models, the antenna and stem diameters also change. This allows the float to be matched to the control required in the water and to the visibility of the signal.
What makes it different from a classic still-water float?	Rhon is designed for fishing in current with a holding presentation. The side through-line and short drop shape make it more suitable for line control than a model designed only for still water.
