PENN Prevail III Jigging Spin

The PENN Prevail III Jigging Spin is a spinning rod designed for vertical jigging with a fixed spool reel. It is part of the Prevail III series and combines a 24T + 30T Carbon blank, SS Frame guides with Fazlite Rings, and Fuji components. The slim-diameter build is designed to work the jig with precision and maintain sensitivity during fishing.

What it is for

This rod is made to handle the jig in vertical fishing and to land hard-fighting fish in deep water with a responsive, lightweight tool. The Fast action supports proper lure movement and makes hook-setting immediate. The design is aimed at anglers fishing from a boat or in situations where lure control and fish response matter more than casting distance. The series covers several power ratings, so the angler can choose the model according to jig weight and intended use.
