Rapala Shadow Blade
Rapala Shadow Blade is a series of spinning rods designed to cover multiple uses with a single tool. The high modulus carbon blank, modern fast action and Fuji components define a range built for spinning in freshwater and saltwater, when sensitivity, control and clean casting are needed.
What it’s for
This series is designed to handle different lures and techniques with a balanced setup. It can be used for light, medium and medium-heavy spinning, depending on the model chosen. Anglers look for a rod that is ready on the cast, comfortable in active fishing and suitable for working artificial lures with precision. The different lengths and power ratings make it possible to choose a shorter setup for quick manoeuvres or a longer one to increase control and casting distance. The tapered structure and low weight of the models help keep the setup manageable during long sessions.
Features
- High-Modulus Carbon blank for a light and responsive structure.

Frequently asked questions
| How do you choose the right model in the Shadow Blade series? | The choice mainly depends on length and casting power. Shorter models favour manoeuvrability and control, while longer ones help with distance and lure handling. |
|---|
| What kind of fishing does this series cover? | The series covers light, medium and medium-heavy spinning. The different power ratings let you match the rod to the lures and fishing technique you use most often. |
|---|
| What changes between the variants in the same series? | Size, weight and casting power change. These three data points directly affect how the rod is used and the type of lure you can employ. |
|---|
| Is the Shadow Blade suitable for anglers looking for a technical but easy-to-use rod? | Yes. The modern fast action and Fuji components define a rod that is quick on the cast and neat in use, without making field use complicated. |
|---|
| What maintenance does a rod in this series require? | Normal spinning-rod maintenance is enough: check the guides, clean after use and store properly. If you use it in saltwater, it is good practice to rinse the components. |
