Colmic Mini Extensions SAN Siro

Colmic Mini Extensions SAN Siro is a series of mini butts for roubaisienne designed for fishing in the immediate under-bank area. These elements work like a normal section, but with a shorter length. They fit into the logic of the competition rod when you need to manage the fish close to the bank without using the full setup.

What it is for

This series solves two practical needs: protecting the element into which the section fits and speeding up the setup when an important bite comes at short range. In competition fishing, the change must be quick and tidy, especially when working under the tip or in tight spaces. The mini extension also allows an alternative setup to the traditional section, reducing the usable distance and increasing the overall stiffness of the rod. For this reason, it is part of the setup of anglers who use the roubaisienne both in competition and in technical fishing sessions.

Features

Short-section structure for immediate under-bank fishing
Protection of the fitting element during close-range use
Quick fitting with the rod body during the fight
Use as an alternative to the traditional section when maximum distance is not needed
Increase in the total stiffness of the rod in short configuration
Series available in variants with differences in fitting and intended use

In the range available on Pescaloccasione, the Mini Extensions SAN Siro cover several roubaisienne configurations. The choice depends on the rod setup and on the type of section they need to work with, so as to keep the assembly and fishing response consistent.

Frequently asked questions

What is a mini extension for roubaisienne used for?	It is used to fish in the immediate under-bank area with a section shorter than normal. It protects the fitting element and allows a quick change when you hook a fish close in.
Where is this series used?	It is used on the roubaisienne in close-range fishing situations and especially in competition use. It is suitable when there is no need to work at maximum distance.
How do I choose the right variant?	It should be chosen according to the rod setup and the section it must fit with. The variants in the series differ by fitting combination and intended use.
What advantage does it offer over a traditional section?	It reduces the usable rod length and increases overall stiffness in short-range use. This makes work on the fish more direct and changing configuration faster.
Does it require special maintenance?	The series does not indicate any specific interventions. In practice, it should be treated like a roubaisienne component: checking the fit and cleaning after use helps maintain functionality.
