Description

Sufix Braided

This revolutionary 8-strand braid (7 Dyneema strands and 1 Gore fiber strand) combines the performance of GORE fiber with the mastery of SUFIX strand braiding technology. This precision construction allows for a perfectly round and regular braid and improves resistance in both linear tension and knot strength. GORE fibers are composed of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). PTFE is an inert material, insensitive to salt water, all chemicals and UV rays. GORE has a very low friction coefficient which gives this braid superior abrasion resistance, reduced noise and vibration and of course increased casting performance. Suitable for all casting techniques in both salt and fresh water.
