Madcat A-Static Treble 6X Hook
Madcat A-Static Treble 6X Hook is a series of treble hooks for terminal tackle, designed for use in catfish fishing. These are sharp and robust treble hooks made from high-quality Japanese steel. The A-STATIC finish with rubber coating reduces the electric field perceived by the fish.
What it is for
These treble hooks are used when you need a reliable treble hook for bait presentation and for hooking in catfish fishing. They are part of rig construction and work in situations where fish behaviour is influenced by non-visual signals as well. The anti-static coating addresses this need. Anglers using dedicated catfish gear will find in this series a component designed for bottom fishing, drifting, or other dedicated rigs, depending on the technique used. Choosing the right size affects the balance of the rig and the proportion between hook and bait.
