VMC 7117SA Light Single Assist

VMC 7117SA Light Single Assist is an assist hook from the 7117SA Light Single Assist series, designed for use in slow jigging. It belongs to the assist hook family and is used in jigging with a light and direct setup, when a dedicated hook is needed for assist rigging in technical fishing presentations.

What it is for

This assist hook works in slow jigging rigs where hook-up needs to be fast and fish control precise. The Technical Locking Curve is designed to maximize hook-setting and keep the fish in place once hooked. The twisted braid increases strength by 40% compared with the construction stated by the manufacturer. The addition of UV Kristal Flash improves the visibility of the rig while fishing and supports the strike phase during jigging. It is used by anglers who build assist hooks for light, detail-oriented setups.
