VMC 7329 DD Drop Dead Weighted
The VMC 7329 DD Drop Dead Weighted is a single hook for soft plastic rigs, especially for Texas Rig in a finesse style. It belongs to the family of wide gap hooks with a weighted shank, designed for controlled soft bait presentations.
What it is for
This hook works when soft baits need to be rigged neatly and securely, with a setup that encourages movement on the fall. The weighted shank creates a smoother bait action, while the tapered locking spring holds the soft body in place after the cast. The long shank helps reduce short strikes, which is useful in finesse fishing with compact baits and technical retrieves. It is used in Texas rig setups where a clean presentation and bait control near cover, mixed bottoms or situations that demand precision matter.
