VMC 9986 Specimen BIG Game Double Hook

VMC 9986 Specimen BIG Game Double Hook is a double hook for heavy-duty use in tuna fishing and for replacing treble hooks on trolling traces. It belongs to the double hook family and is designed for robust rigs, where a double point of attachment and a structure suited to working with baits and saltwater lures are required.

What it is for

This type of double hook is used when secure holding and a simple setup are needed on big game and trolling tackle. The non-welded shank makes assembly easier and allows faster adaptation to the leader or bait. In tuna fishing and trolling, the double hook often replaces treble hooks on some lures, reducing bulk while keeping a clean presentation. It is a choice for anglers who rig sturdy baits and want a component designed for high stress.

Non-welded shank to make rigging easier.
Also suitable for replacing treble hooks on trolling lures.
Series available in multiple sizes so you can choose the correct one for the rig.

At Pescaloccasione you will find this series of double hooks in the different sizes provided by the manufacturer. The choice of variant depends on the rig, bait size, and the action required while fishing.
