Savage Gear Mutant EWG Underspoon Hooks

The Savage Gear Mutant EWG Underspoon Hooks are fishing hooks from the Terminal Tackle family, designed for soft-body rigging in the Mutant rat series. The structure follows the EWG format, with components dedicated to adding weight or an underspin blade.

What it is used for

These hooks are used when a soft lure needs to be rigged precisely and securely, while maintaining a presentation suited to the water. The stainless steel corkscrew system makes it easier to secure the lure body, while the zinc belly weight with eyelet allows the addition of a clip-on weight or an underspin blade. In practice, the rig can be adapted to the technique and action you want to give the lure, with a clear reference for anglers working on specific predator rigs.

Features

Extreme Wide Gape hook for soft lure rigs.
Designed to fit the Mutant rat body from the same series.
Forged carbon steel.
Nano sharp needle point.
Stainless steel corkscrew for lure attachment.
Zinc belly weight with eyelet for additional accessories.

The series is available in two hook sizes. Pescaloccasione offers it as part of a range dedicated to soft lure rigs, with variants to choose from according to the lure size and the presentation required.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size among the available variants?	The choice depends on the size of the lure and the rig you want to achieve. This series includes sizes 10/0 and 14/0.
What type of lure are these hooks used with?	The series is designed for the Mutant rat soft body. The stainless steel corkscrew is used to attach the lure directly.
What is the eyelet belly weight for?	It is used to add a clip-on weight or an underspin blade. This way, the rig adapts to the required presentation.
What makes this series different from a standard hook?	In addition to the EWG shape, it integrates a stainless steel corkscrew and a zinc belly weight with eyelet. These are elements designed for technical soft lure rigs.
Do they require special accessories to be used?	You need lures compatible with this rigging system and, if required, a clip-on weight or an underspin blade. The hook structure is already prepared for this use.
